IoT has changed the world of computing, but until IRONdb the TSDB had not kept up. IoT sensors are deployed and monitored at a scale that is typically 10,000 times as large as traditional computing systems. To add to that daunting challenge, many sensors collect data at substantially higher frequency than traditional computing environments — on average 10,000 times faster. That’s 10^8 times the data volume.
